YES Program hosts anniversary virtual kick-off party on 12.12.12
Throughout the month of November, YES and YES Abroad Program Alumni participated in a video call-to-action. Alumni in over 40 countries where asked to submit short videos answering the question, “What does YES mean to you” in honor of the 10th Anniversary of the Kennedy-Lugar YES Program.
The video below headlined the virtual kick-off party, which occurred on December 12, 2012 through all social media platforms.

The Kennedy-Lugar YES Program is a Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs sponsored program that brings high school students from countries with significant Muslim populations to spend an academic year in the US. iEARN-USA and its iEARN country partners are responsible for the recruitment of students from Arab-Israel, Bangladesh, Cameroon, Liberia, Mali, Pakistan, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Suriname. iEARN further enhances the program through ongoing online project partnerships among participating schools.
